Our Story

Macian embodies the fusion of two extraordinary design heritages in women's luxury footwear. Founder Silvia Olcese hails from Liguria, where the influence of British culture blossomed in the 19th century. Surrounded by rich history and vibrant landscapes, Silvia’s childhood summers in Portofino inspire her design philosophy, reflected in a palette of rusty reds, forest greens, and mustard yellows. Each pair of Macian shoes captures these visual memories and a deep appreciation of their origins.
